E. THROTTLE BODY
Throttle body consists of butterfly valve inside which
control the inlet air flow from intercooler to intake
manifold. It is controlled by engine EMS.
F. SENSOR AIR TEMPERATURE
T-MAP sensor consists of a silicon chip mounted
inside a reference chamber. On one side of the chip
is the reference chamber rand on the other side is
the pressure to be measured. The electrical re-
sistance of the chip varies with the variation of the
pressure. This change in resistance alters the volt-
age signal. ECM interprets the voltage signal as
pressure and any change in voltage signal as
change in pressure. The temperature sensor ele-
ment is a NTC resistor.
