5. DIAGNOSIS
FRONT SUSPENSION & REAR SUSPENSION
Always road test the vehicle first before coming to any conclusion, Do some preliminary visual inspection and
correct any defects if found.
1. Inspect the tyre pressures and tyre wear.
2. Lift the vehicle using two post lift and inspect front and rear suspension for loose or damaged parts.
3. Rotate the wheels and check for out-of round tyres, bent rims, loose or rough wheel bearings.
4. Detailed inspection of parts / sub assembly of rear suspension is given in Inspection Section.

1. Replace spring.

4. Adjust the wheel alignment at
front / rear ends.

Wheel Tramp
1. Bump on tyre.

Vehicle Shaking Vibrations
1. Wheels out of balance.
2. Loose wheel bearings.
3. Worn out tie rod ends.
4. Worn out lower ball joints.
5. Excessive wheel run out.
Disturbed front / rear end alignments.
1. Balance wheels or replace
tyre or wheel.
2. Replace wheel bearings.
3. Replace tie rod end.
4. Replace ball joint or lower link
at front.
5. Repair / replace wheel or tyre.
Check and adjust front / rear end
alignments.
