2. COMPONENTS LAYOUT
The ABS system comprises of an ABS ECU, HCU
and 4 Wheel speed sensors one at each wheel in
addition to the conventional brake components
like TMC, Servo Booster, Hydraulic lines and
calipers.
A. ABS ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT /
HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (ECU / HCU) :
This is an Electro-hydraulic device for reducing,
holding and restoring pressure to one or more
wheel brake, independent of the brake pedal effort
applied by the driver.
