8. Place both camshaft gear in the head cover.
9. Align and match the gear meshing.
NOTE
Intake camshaft gear consist of two gear with one
gear in spring tension. These both need to be
aligned in order for gear to mesh properly.
10. Tighten mounting bolts of the cam shaft gear.
NOTE
Refer “Repair and Inspection Details” section for
repair details.
11. Place and install cam shaft head cover on the
engine head.
NOTE
The cylinder head to cylinder head cover centering
bushings are longer (16.0 mm) compared to the
engine block to cylinder head centering bushings,
so be careful not to reverse them as engine
damage may occur.
12. Install glow plugs.
