2. Bring the first cylinder to TDC and further rotate

the crankshaft counterclockwise the equivalent

of two teeth on the crankshaft sprocket to lower

the piston thus avoiding any interference with

the valves during the installation of the cylinder

head.

NOTE

The engine block to cylinder head centering

bushings are shorter (12.5 mm) compared to the

cylinder head to cylinder head cover centering

bushings, so be careful not to reverse them as

engine damage may occur.

3. In the order shown, tighten the cylinder head

bolts to the proper (Torque Specifications).

NOTE

Do not to reverse them as it may impair the

efficiency of the engine.

Use new bolts while installing.

The value of 65 N·m (48 ft. lbs.) must be done with

a combination of 20 N·m (15 ft. lbs.) and

subsequently an increase of 45 N·m (33 ft. lbs.).

4. Place cylinder head cover gasket.

NOTE

Use new gasket while installing.

5. Install both camshaft in head cover.

NOTE

Camshaft are not interchangeable.

6. Align and lock the camshaft using cam shaft

locking pin.

7. Install exhaust camshaft oil seal and intake

camshaft end cover.

(Drift -: 2704 5890 3316).

NOTE

Use new seals while installing.
