Anti-lock Braking System(ABS)

Installation:
A. Clean speed sensor and its mounting surface.
B. Route the cable properly.
C. Connect the wiring harness connector to
wheel speed sensor cable.
D. Make sure that the sensor cable connector is
fully seated and locked into vehicle wiring
harness connector.
E. Insert the sensor into the sensor mounting
hole and tighten the bolt to the specified
torque (1.0 Kg-m).
F. The Air gap should be
0.475mm
to 1.175.
G. Clear all fault codes and road test the vehicle
to ensure proper operation of the brake
system.
C. FRONT MAGNETIC ENCODER :
Inspection:
1. Front wheel, Knuckle and Bearing needs to
be removed for Encoder Inspection. (for
procedure refer front Axle section
2. If any damage is visible on encoder rubber
strip on bearing replace the bearing with
encoder strip. (Refer front Axle section for for
bearing replacement procedure)
