2.0 REAR FOG LAMPS

2.0.1 Description

The fog lights are used in low visibility weather conditions such as dense fog, heavy rain, heavy snow, or

smoke. The telltale indications for fog lamps are necessary. Rear fog lamps are used to make the vehicle

more easily visible from the rear in dense fog.

2.0.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• IGN is ON &

• Position lamps & Front fog switch is ON or Head Lamps switch is ON &

• Rear Fog Lamp switch (facia) is activated

Deactivation –

• IGN is OFF or

• Position lamps or front fog lamp switch is off & Head Lamp is OFF or

• Rear Fog Lamp switch (facia) is deactivated or

• Engine is being cranked

Tell-tale Indication –

• Rear fog Lamp Switch LED is illuminated

On Fault –

Respective DTC logged.
