1.9 FRONT FOG LAMP AS CORNERING LAMP

1.8.1 Description

Front Fog lamps will be activated based on steering input received from ESP. It provides additional

illumination of the area to the side of the vehicle, making nighttime parking and turning safer.

1.8.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• IGN is ON &

• Position lamps or Head Lamps are ON &

• Steering is rotated 20deg either side

• Left or right turn switch input active

• Reverse gear disengaged

• Vehicle speed is equal or above 10Kmph

Deactivation –

• IGN is OFF or

• Position lamps &Head Lamp is OFF or

• Steering is rotated <20deg

• Left or right turn switch input deactivate

• Reverse gear engaged

• Vehicle speed is below 10Kmph

Tell-tale Indication –

• Fog Lamp Switch LED is illuminated

On Fault –

Telltale is turned off when all lamps are failed and Respective DTC logged.
