8. Using tool part no. 541258904601 remove Tie
rod ball joint from knuckle.
NOTE:
Use hook to hang tie rod ball joint
9. Remove knuckle to LCA Mtg. & Remove
Lower Control Arm (LCA).
10. Disengage Driveshaft from Gearbox end.
NOTE:
Collect Gearbox oil in suitable container after
disengaging driveshaft from gearbox end.
Use hook to hang the driveshaft suitably after
removal from gearbox side.
11. Assemble
driveshaft
removal
tool
(541258903301) on wheel hub with the help
of wheel nut.
12. Remove driveshaft from knuckle end by
rotating special tool rod & take out driveshaft
from vehicle.
PRECAUTION:
While disengaging driveshaft from gearbox
take care that oil seal should not be damage.
Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the
plunge joint will come out of housing and
damage the boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for
taking out joint out of splines.
Do not place the drive shaft on rough /
uncleaned surfaces. This might damage the
drive shaft boot.
