D. CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER - REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the hose connecting the Clutch

Master Cylinder to brake fluid reservoir and

the feed line to Clutch Slave Cylinder.

2. To disconnect Clutch master cylinder from

pedal box disconnect snap type push rod of

clutch master cylinder from assembly. clutch

pedal lever pin

3. Loosen and remove the Clutch MC mounting

M8 nuts.

4. Completely pull out the Clutch MC from the

engine compartment side.

INSTALLATION

1. Fix the clutch control bracket on firewall with

specified tightening torque.

2. Insert the clutch master cylinder from engine

compartment to clutch pedal box through

firewall cut-out.

NOTE: -

Ensure CMC aligned with pedal box and

rotate 45

anticlockwise till it get lock and ensure

suction port become vertical. (This is snap type

arrangement)

3. Insert the CMC eye (snap type) on clevis pin

mounted on the clutch pedal box.

4. Press fit the sealing assembly on to the holes

provided for mechanical clutch cable.

NOTE:

Ensure the sealing flushes with firewall

and doesn’t come out.

NOTE:

Ensure the clutch pedal effort within

(

6.5)

to 10Kg with release bearing load min. 900N to

max.1200N (Disc).

5. Bleed the air from the system from the clutch

slave cylinder, for procedure refer CLUTCH

SLAVECYLINDER BLEEDING PROCEDURE
