Electrical Components Of The Hydraulic
Unit:
Proportional Pressure Solenoid Valve:
It controls the pressure of the oil to the two
actuator chambers for double effect gear en-
gagement-
disengagement
with
two
mechanical stable positions according to the
command combination (even gears EV2, odd
gears EV1).
The two solenoid valves are identical and
have a maximum flow rate of 7 l/min with a
pressure differential of 10 bar.
The control current ranges from 0 to 2.5 A
and is controlled directly by the control unit.
The electrical resistance of the winding is 2.5
ohm +/- 6% at 20°C.
Operation:
When EV1 is operated, pressurised oil enters
the right side of the actuator. In this way,
thanks to the rotation of the engagement
shaft, the odd gears are engaged.
When EV2 is operated, pressurised oil enters
the left side of the actuator. In this way,
thanks to the rotation of the engagement
shaft, the even gears are engaged.
