Component Specification :

Boost Pressure Sensor is used to

measure the pressure of the Intake Air at

Intake Manifold (After Turbo). The

piezoresistive pressure sensor element and a

suitable circuitry for signal amplification are

integrated on a silicon chip. The measured

pressure operates from above to the active

side of the silicon diaphragm.

Sensor Stand alone Diagnosis :

1. Give 5V Power Supply to the Sensor

Supply pin and Ground to the Sensor

Ground Pin

2. Keep the sensor in a pressurized

environment of 50 bar.

3. Measure the Voltage between the Sensor

pressure Signal Pin and Ground, it should

be 2.1 Volts approx.

Diagnosis:

Use multimeter to check for signal

voltage at pin1 and pin3.

Supply voltage :- 5V DC.

Signal Voltage :

0.4 V @ 10 kpa (absolute)

4.65 V @ 115 kpa (absolute)
