1.13.8. PARKING

BRAKE

CABLE

ADJUSTMENT

A) PARKING BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

(OPTION – I)

1. Keep Parking brake lever in 0

notch and

tighten the parking brake cable adjustment nut

through parking adjustment cover of center

console.

2. Pull Parking brake lever fully and release it for

5 times.

3. If notch position is 3 to 4 then hand brake

setting is OK.

4. If notch position is above 4 then tighten the

hand brake adjustment nut for getting final

notch position.

5. If notch position is below 3 then loosen the nut

for getting final notch position.

B) PARKING BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

(OPTION – II)

1. Recline the Co-Driver seat fully and adjust the

position to remove “CONSOLE PARKING

BRAKE COVER”.( pull towards co-driver side

to dislodge the snaps)

2. Keep the parking brake lever in 0 th notch &

tighten parking brake cable adjustment nut

from co-driver side.

3. Pull the parking brake lever fully and release it

for 5 times.

4. If noth position in 3 to 4 then Hand Brake

position is OK.

5. If notch position is above 4 then Tighten the

hand brake adjustment nut for getting final

notch position.

6. If notch position is below 3 then loosen the nut

for getting final notch.
