1.13.7. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF
PARKING BRAKE CABLE
1. Remove the brake drum - refer Removal brake
drum.
2. Remove the parking brake clip from the rear
brake assembly.
3. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the
shoe lever - refer Brake shoe removal.
4. Remove the cable from the rear brake
assembly.
5. From cabin, lift the Armrest(if Applicable).
6. From the cabin, remove parking adjuster
cover (Applicable for High Version).
7. From the cabin, remove parking adjuster
cover (Applicable for Low Version).
8. Recline the co-driver seat fully and adjust the
position to remove “CONSOLE PARKING
BREAK COVER” (pull towards co-driver side
to dislodge the snaps).
9. Loosen the parking brake slackness
adjustment nut located inside the console that
can be accessed through the parking adjuster
cover opening.
