1.5. STEERING ANGLE CALIBRATION
DESCRIPTION
Steering wheel angle sensor is an absolute steering wheel angle sensor. The sensor provides an absolute
steering wheel angle over the full measuring range (which depends upon the length of the mechanical rack).
The steering angle is derived from the value of the rotor position sensor which is located on the motor of EPAS
(Electronic power assisted steering).
OPERATION VOLTAGE
If the operating voltage range is between 9-16V then a valid steering angle is available at CAN communication
channel
