1.10. FATC SENSOR & ACTUATOR

A. SOLAR LOAD SENSOR

Solar load sensor is a photodiode that measures the

relative solar load. It provides the output voltage pro-

portional to solar heating.

LOCATION

It is fitted on front defrost grill.

INSPECTION

Fit the solar load sensor into its adaptor. Connect the

electrical connection.

Measure response at different intensity and plot

graph of sensor output and intensity.

The plotted graph should approximately match with

following graph.

3. Pry out the sensor using suitable tools.

4. Disconnect the electrical connection of solar load

sensor.

5. Rotate the sensor in anticlockwise direction and

take it out from the holder.

REFITMENT

For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal.
