Perform Ignition key ON-OFF (wait min 30
sec after key OFF), Is DTC P080A cleared?
Release vehicle to customer
after final drive test
Check ignition and battery
power and ground connections
of TCU (check toggling of ign
voltage with key ON-OFF).
If power healthy -Replace TCU
&
Recheck the above steps

connections of TCU (check toggling of
ignition voltage with key ON-OFF). Also
check CAN communication wires.
Is power and CAN communication healthy?
Go to step 5
Rectify the connections

gear, read through the diag. tool
“Clutch speed” and confirm non zero and
rising values as vehicle is picked up from
rest. Any problem with clutch speed?
b> Observe Clutch speed with the diag. tool
keeping gearbox in neutral, is zero speed
observed?
c>Disassemble Clutch assembly, check for
correct clutch assembly and inspect clutch
for any obstruction to movements/incorrect
clutch stroke/damaged beleville, springs/
etc.
d> Mechanical damage to the clutch
e> Check the AMT Clutch lever interface
Is problem located in clutch assembly?
a>Replace clutch speed
sensor
b&c&d>Replace/Rectify the
problematic clutch
component
Recheck the above steps
Replace the transmission
(including kit)
Recheck the above steps
DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool
before handing over to customer.
After key ON with TML TCU diagnostic tool connected, monitor the “
Selflearned Mask”
and confirm that variable “
Kiss
point” is TRUE.
Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes
Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
