a> Run IO control on Clutch, shift and Gear Electrovalves, if
any Control is failing, rectify referring respective DTC. In
case problem not located, next step b
b> Unmount the TCU from the valve body and investigate
any loose contacts/damaged valves/ sensor connectors. Is
any kit component damaged?
c> Disassemble kit from transmission, check for correct kit
assembly and inspect transmission components for any
obstruction to actuator movements/damaged
teeth/synchro rings/forks etc.
Is problem located in transmission?
Replace/Rectify the
problematic
transmission

Replace the
transmission
(including kit)

a> Recheck list mentioned in point 2 of “Preliminary Checks”
and check for any missing input from the list (for example
brake switch problem, low battery voltage etc)

a>Check the AMT Clutch lever interface
b>Disassemble Clutch assembly, check for correct clutch
assembly and inspect clutch for any obstruction to actuator
movements/incorrect clutch stroke/damaged beleville, springs/ etc.
b> Mechanical damage to the clutch
Is problem located in clutch assembly?
Replace/Rectify the
problematic clutch
component
Recheck the above
steps

DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool
before handing over to customer.
After key ON with TML TCU diagnostic tool connected, monitor the “
Selflearned Mask”
and confirm that variable
“
Successful EOL Executed” is TRUE.
Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes
Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
