FRONT AXLE (4X2
)
INTRODUCTION
The Front Axle/ Steering Knuckle is mounted
between the upper and lower wishbones. The
steering rack outer ball joint, brake caliber and
wheel hub are connected to it.
The wheel hub comprises of a unitised bearing and
hence does not need lubrication.
In vehicles with ABS the toner ring and Wheel
speed sensor are mounted on it.
