IVN Preliminary Check

5. Check TCM is communicating with TML diagnostic DTC or not.

6. If not, check for short conditions between CAN_H-CAN_L, CAN_H-GND, CAN_L-GND, CAN_H-Vbatt and

CAN_L-GND at TCM vehicle side wiring harness (pin details are provided with schematic in the document).

There should not be any short circuit conditions.

7. There should be continuity between vehicle side wiring harness with following pins.

IPC CAN_H (pin. 17) to EMS CAN_H(C1, 132) and IPC CAN_L (pin. 18) to EMS CAN_L(C1, 144)

ii.

TCM CAN_H(C1, 25) to IPC CAN_H(pin. 17) and TCM CAN_L(C1, 28) to IPC CAN_L(pin. 18)

Continuity should be there.

Read IVN DTCs in TCM in IGN ON condition with TML diagnostic tool.
