Selector Shaft & Lip Seal installing procedure

1. Prior fitting the new lip seal, ensure no debris

in the main case hole.

2. Insert the new manual shaft lip seal on tool

(Part No: 287058902613) and press

completely in case.

3. Install the new manual shaft and the detent

lever.

4. Install the new manual shaft pin in the case

using a set hammer.

5. Align detent lever pin hole and selector shaft

pin hole and install the new detent lever pin

with a set hammer.

Output Shaft 4x4 ‘O-ring Seal Removing &

Installing Procedure:

1. Remove the transmission. See Transmission

Removing Procedure.

2. Remove the O-ring seal with a screwdriver.

3. Discard the seal.

4. Drip the new Seal in transmission fluid.

5. Install it on the output shaft.
