7. Keeping the clutch pedal pressed open the

bleeding valve (turn anti-clockwise) until the

fluid containing air escapes.

NOTE

Observe weather air bubbles are coming in the

container and let the fluid flow into the

container.

8. After few seconds close the bleeding valve (turn

clockwise).

9. Release the clutch pedal slowly without jerk and

hold it at released position for minimum 2

seconds.

10.Repeat the steps 5 to 9 until fluid coming in the

container is free from air bubbles.

CAUTION

Fluid drained from the system should be

discarded.

11.After completion of bleeding operation ensure

that bleeding valve is turned to off position.

12.Disconnect the bleeding pipe and reinstall the

dust cap.

C. CLUTCH FLUID DRAINING PROCEDURE

1. Remove the stone guard for access of bleeding

valve (hydraulic adapter) from the vehicle.

2. Clean the external areas of the hydraulic

adapter and remove the dust cap from the

hydraulic adapter bleeding connection.

3. Connect the bleed pipe to the hydraulic adapter

bleeding connection.

4. Place the other end of bleed pipe in a clean

container which should be at a lower level than

the slave cylinder and ensure that the pipe is

submerged in the clutch fluid.

NOTE

After removing the hose, plug the passage of

CMC and the hose with suitable caps to avoid

entry of any contaminants.

5. Press and release the clutch pedal repeatedly

until the fluid stops coming out of the bleeder

valve.

CAUTION

Fluid drained from the system should be

discarded.

Care should be taken while actuating the

plunger that it should not be actuated beyond

its maximum extended length.
