4. Fit the engine cover.

! CAUTION

Care should be taken to connect the ports of the

solenoid valve to their respective hoses. Any inter-

changing of the hose connection will lead to

malfunctioning of the EGR system.

18.INTAKE THROTTLE VALVE:

Intake throttle body is an electronic device which

functions on PWM signal from EMS ECU for desired

throttle (butterfly valve) opening as per the engine’s

requirement. It is made up of smart actuator and a

feedback sensor. It is mounted at the entry of intake

manifold.

Location

Removal

1. Key off the ignition switch (mandatory for

any sensor related activity)

2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector

3. Remove the intake throttle hose

4. Loosen the mounting screws of throttle

body

NOTE:

Butterfly valve of throttle body should not be

flipped or tried to be operated with hands.
