B. FRONT HVAC UNIT

The front HVAC unit in this Vehicle comprises of the

following parts:

i) Blower.

ii) Blower Resister for Manual HVAC or LPM

(Linear

Power Module)

for FATC systems.

iii) Evaporator Coil

iv) TXV

v) Heater Coil

vi) Air circulation ducts.

i) BLOWER

The Blower is located at the left bottom side of the

HVAC unit when viewed from inside the car. It acts

as a centrifugal pump drawing in air from the center

and pushing it out diagonally. The air flows through

the evaporator and the heater coil and then to the

cabin.

The Blower speed is controlled using a blower re-

sister (

in case of manual HVAC

) or a Linear Power

Module (

in case of Fully Automatic Temperature

Control (FATC)

)
