ON VEHICLE REPAIR

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery connection.

2. Pry out the PAB deactivation switch from the

dashboard.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection and remove

the PAB deactivation switch.

FITMENT

For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.

NOTE

Before fitment ensure that the switch locks are in

good condition if found damaged replace at the

time of assembly.

The switch should be properly fitted in end cover

cut out and there should not be any lateral

movement in the switch.

VIII PAB INDICATOR

The PAB indicator illuminates when the PAB activa-

tion and deactivation switch is either turned OFF or

ON. When the PAB deactivation switch is turned

OFF, the OFF indicator on the PAB indication lamp

glows to indicate that the passenger airbag has been

deactivated and vice-versa.

LED1 illuminates PASSENGER AIRBAG text, LED2

illuminates OFF telltale and LED3 illuminates ON

telltale
