NOTE:

On inclines, curves, braking and sudden acceleration due to the movement of fuel in the tank, the fuel level

display may fluctuate or the low fuel warning may come earlier than actual. Always check fuel level when the

vehicle is on level road. When the Ignition “ON”, this gauge gives an approximate indication of the amount of

fuel in the fuel tank and it takes few seconds to stabilize

! CAUTION:

Driving the fuel tank too low or empty can cause the engine to stall and could endanger the passengers.

User must stop and obtain the additional fuel as soon as possible once low fuel warning comes ON or RED

bar ON in the Fuel gauge.

Do not continue adding fuel after the automatic shut off function is operated if it is equipped on the fuel

pump. The sensor in the fuel tank may misjudge the amount of fuel remaining.

If there is any fault in the system Low fuel warning symbol

shall blink, Take your car to the nearest Tata

authorized service station to get it repaired.

E. TELLTALES

1.

Turn Indicator (Left/Right):

Turn signal lamps can be only when the ignition

supply is ‘ON’ and Engine running by turning ON

Left/Right turn indicator in the Combi-switch. The

direction indicator arrow & on instrument cluster

flashes with tic-toc sound along with external

indicator lights.

If the indicator does not blink or blinking fastly, it

means one of the external indicator bulb is fused.

Replace the bulb as soon as possible

2. Hazard Indicator:

The Left and Right both the indicator shall blink

when the Hazard switch is activated.

3. High Beam Indicator:

This indicator lights up when the headlamp high

beam is ‘ON’ or when High beam is flashed.

4. Battery Charging Indicator:

This indicator lights up when ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ &

goes ‘OFF’ after the engine starts.

5. TOD (Torque on Demand) (If applicable)

This indicator comes ON when the ignition is

turned ON and goes OFF after TOD system check

(approx. 3 secs). If it continues to remain ON, it

indicates a fault in the TOD system.

! CAUTION:

If it remains ‘ON’ while the engine is running, it

indicates that the battery is not charging. Take

your vehicle to TATA authorized service center.

6. Park Brake / Brake Fluid Oil level/EBD

Indicator:

This indicator has multiple functions as follows,

When ignition key is turned to ‘IGN’ position, it

lights up for 3 seconds and goes OFF

It lights up with “park brake ON” text message

when parking brake is applied and goes off when

parking brake is released.

It lights up with “Brake fluid low” text message

when brake fluid oil level is low.

It lights up with “EBD fault” text message when

ABS / EBD system has some fault (valid for

vehicles having ABS system only)
