2.5 VEHICLE JACKING AND LIFTING POINTS

!! WARNING

Using Jacking brackets for lifting vehicle on 2 post is not advisable as width of bracket is less. It is recommended

to use long member bottom area adjacent to jack brackets indicated below for lifting vehicle using 2 posts

FOR 4X2 VEHICLE

The 4X2 vehicle is fitted with four jacking brackets on the long member as marked in the below figure as 1 and

vehicle lifting points on the long member are marked as 2.

FOR 4X4 VEHICLE

The 4X4 vehicle is having two jacking brackets at the rear and can be directly jacked up in the front end at the

long members marked as 1. Similarly, the vehicle lifting points on the long members are marked as 2.

NOTE

In case of 4X4 vehicle the front jacking and vehicle lifting points are at the same point on the long member
