SRS

INTRODUCTION:

There are safety features in the vehicle that

protect the occupants in case of accidents. The

seat belts are known as “primary restraints

system” and are designed for controlled occupant

movement during an accident. This reduces the

risk of hard contacts with vehicle interiors. The

airbags & seat belt pretensioners are inflatable

systems known as “supplementary restraints

system (SRS)” and are designed to further

enhance level of occupant protection in accidents.
