9.9.9 FASCIA INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
WARNING:
Remove the key from key barrel. This is
necessary to ensure proper initialization of
Instrument Cluster Parameters like Odometer
value learning from Immobilizer and DTCs in other
ECUs against Instrument Cluster. Removing
Instrument Cluster with Key IN is strictly prohibited
otherwise it will corrupt the odometer value.
1. Pull out the cluster bezel to remove cluster.
2. Remove four screws to remove cluster.
3. Pull out the Cluster towards arrow direction
as shown in
4. Remove the wire harness connectors
ASSEMBLY
Swapping to analyse cluster defect:
It is strictly prohibited to swap clusters for defect
analysis from vehicles or from available stock.
Due to immobilizer Odometer learning strategy,
cluster odometer value will change permanently to
a higher value. For defect analysis, use
Diagnostics Tool or ETC (Engineering Test
MODE).
1. Connect the wire harness connection.
2. Then properly align the instrument cluster.
3. Fit the cluster by 4 screws.
