F. MAINSHAFT – ASSEMBLY
1. Fit the needle bearing (1) for the 3rd speed
drive gear.
2. Fit the 3rd speed drive gear (2).
3. Fit the 3rd speed synchronizer ring (3).
4. Fit the 3rd and 4th speed sliding engagement
Sleeve hub (4).
5. Fit the 3rd and 4th speed sliding engagement
sleeve (5).
6. Fit the pre-synchronizer mountings in their
housings in the sliding sleeve hub (6).
7. Fit the 4th speed synchronizer ring (7).
8. Fit the bush for the 4th speed drive gear (1a)
using the tool 287458902609 (Fitting tool) (1b).
9. Fit the roller bearing for the 4th speed drive
gear (2a) and the 4th speed drive gear (2b).
10.Fit the rear bearing (1a) using the tool (1b)
287458902609 (Fitting tool).
11.Fit the new main shaft front bearing (1a) using
the tool (1b) 287458902616 (Fitting tool).
