31. Rotate the
crankshaft clockwise
one
rotation. Do not over-rotate or rotate
crankshaft in the wrong direction.
32. Set the valve clearance on the inlet valve
rocker arms for cylinders 3 and 4 and the
exhaust valve rocker arms for cylinder 2 and
4.
33. To ensure proper timing, rotate the crankshaft
clockwise four to five rotations and insert the
camshaft locking pin and flywheel locking pin
to ensure timing is correct.
34. Fit timing cover front lower.
35. Fit timing cover front.
36. Fit the “A-Mount Bracket” to the front cover
assembly and tighten the bolts at specified
torque.
37. Fit timing cover front upper.
38. Place cylinder head cover along with the
rubber gasket.
39. Tighten the bolts sequentially to specified
torque.
