E. BUMP STOPPER

REMOVAL

Bump stopper is mounted on the frame. Loosen

and remove the bump stopper and separate the

same from the frame.

Follow the same

procedure for other stopper also.

FITMENT

For fitment tighten the stopper assembly on the

frame.

NOTE

Make sure that the specified torque is always

maintained. Refer tightening torque table.

Check condition of bump stopper for any cracks

chipping, wear and tear before fitment.

5.1.3 OVERHAULING

5.1.3.1 PRECAUTIONS

1. Since all suspension fasteners are critical in

suspension attachments with regard to

performance and safety of vehicle, these must

be replaced with one of the same part number

in case of replacement.

2. Torque values must be maintained as specified

during reassembly for proper retention of the

parts. The replacement parts should be of the

same quality as of the designed parts.

3. Damaged parts should be replaced only with

new parts. Welding, straightening or any other

form of repairing should not be attempted.

4. Lower arm bushes are to be aligned properly

while fitment.

5. Care should be taken while handling spring

loaded suspension components.
