5.1.2.3 ON VEHICLE REPAIRS

A.

ANTI ROLL BAR

(ARB)

REMOVAL

1. Hoist the vehicle in two post lift and remove

front wheels.

2. Remove the stone guard.

3. Support the lower wishbone, lock the ball joint

from being rotated using an Allen key

(5mm)

and d

isconnect the antiroll bar from the ball joint

assembly by loosening the nyloc nut. Follow the

same procedure at the other end also.

! CAUTION

Make sure that before loosening the Nyloc nut one

should use Allen key (5mm) to hold the ARB link

ball stud, otherwise it may damage the ball joint.

4. Loosen and remove mounting bolts of bearing

block clamp. Follow the same procedure at the

other end.

5. Remove the ARB.

INSPECTION

Check for any bends.

Check for any damage, grease leakage of ARB

link ball joint. Replace with new one if

necessary.

FITMENT

For fitment follow the reverse procedure of

removal.

BALL JOINT PLAY

(ANTI ROLL BAR LINK)

Ball joint axial play

0.1 mm max.

Ball joint radial play

0.15 mm max.

Always

follow standard procedure for checking the

ball joint play
