Trouble shooting for electrical faults to be done in the following order only
On the fault discription High Fault referes to Shortcircuit to Vbat or 12V
On the fault discription Low Fault referes to Shortcircuit to Ground or Chassis Ground
Confirm the fault
Read Fault Code
Short circuit fault present
Check loose
connection
Identify pins on ECU and
sensor side
Terminal backout on connectors.
Check Continuity between the pins.
Check for any O/C
Check Sensor Condition
Breakage / Malfunction
Faults appear in groups of 5 or more
(not necessarily from individual
sensors)
Check wiring of all the sensors
(in the fault group) for contact with
chassis ground or Vbatt
Connect properly
Rectify wiring
Change sensor
