However, it must be physically measured and
confirmed. Measure pre-tension of connecting rod
bearing shell with a feeler gauge after loosening
connecting rod bearing cap mounting nut on
opposite side of bearing shell lug (Fig. 101)
Pretension Gap : 0.120 to 0.180 mm.

SCRAPED.

Remove piston pin from the piston by pushing it
out using a soft drift (Fig.103)

Remove the connecting rod.

Remove piston pin circlip with suitable plier
