Slightly lift the cylinder head to clear locating

hollow dowel in crankcase & place it on a proper

table with care. (Fig.51)

Note

Take proper care while placing the cylinder head on

the table to avoid damage to the cylinder head

surface, valves & glow plugs.

Disconnect the pipes / hoses connected to water

outlet elbow.

Remove the water outlet elbow (Fig. 49)

Unscrew & remove Cylinder head mounting bolts

in a proper sequence. (Fig.50)
