13.Disconnect the Exhaust front pipe at CCC end.
14.Remove CC (Close couple catalytic converter)
assembly
.(For procedure refer CCC removal in
exhaust system section)
15.
Relieve the fuel pressure. (For procedure refer
maintenance section in fuel system.)
16.Disconnect the Fuel line between fuel filter to HP
pump and return line from HP pump.
17.Drain the Power steering Oil at the Power steer-
ing pump and pipe connecter to Steering RAP.

18.Remove the starter motor. Refer
Electrical
sec-
tion.
19.Support the Gearbox from below.
20.Hook the engine at the lifting hooks provided.
21.Raise the crane till the chains are in tension.
22.Loosen and remove the Clutch house mounting
bolts,
(For procedure, refer Gearbox removal in
Gearbox section.)
23.Loosen and remove the RH engine mount by ap-
proaching from top
(Access provided after
removing Air Filter).
24.Loosen and remove the LH engine mount by
reaching out beyond the suspension tower on the
inner side of the frame, when approached from
the LH wheel arch
(Access provided by removal
of LH front wheel and Wheel arch inner liner).
25.Slowly lift the Engine out of the engine compart-
ment.
! CAUTION
While lifting the engine out from the engine bay take
extra care to avoid the suspended engine hitting the
windshield bottom.
FITMENT
For fitment follow the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the following fasteners to the recommended
torque.
i) Refrigerant lines on compressor.
ii) Engine mounts
iii) Exhaust pipe joints & CC Assembly
iv) Clutch house mounting bolts.
v) Starter motor
