SUSPENSION

INSPECTION

1. Check the condition of anti-roll bar for any bend.

If required replace the same with new one.

2. Check the condition of rubber bush and ball joint

if found damaged replace with new one.

3. Check for grease in the mounting bearing block.

ASSEMBLY

1. Locate the bushes and place the ball joint

assembly on the bracket and tighten the nyloc

nut. Follow the same procedure for other end

also.

NOTE

Tighten the nyloc nut such that the gap between the

edge of link and the nyloc nut is 10± 2mm as show in

the figure above

.

2. Position the anti-roll bar and install the bearing

block bracket on to the frame by tightening the

flange head screws on both ends.

NOTE

Apply 2.5 gm of grease should be applied on the

inside and cavities of bearing block

before fitment

of anti roll bar.

The mounting screws to be tightened to the

specified torque, refer tightening torque table

3. Lock the ball joint for rotation using Allen key

(5mm

) and connect the anti-roll bar to the ball

joint assembly by tightening the nyloc nut. Follow

the same procedure at the other end also.
