ENGINE 273 MPFI
•
Remove the rear timing cover mounting bolts of
upper side of rear timing cover (i.e. all mounting
bolts above auto tensioner).
•
Disconnect the fuel rail.
•
Remove the cylinder head mounting bolts to
separate the cylinder head from engine block.
•
Take out the cylinder head fromengine block. Refer
cylinder head section for cylinder head overhaul.
Refitment of Cylinder Head:
•
Follow the procedure in reverse order of Cylinder
Head Removal from vehicle.
•
Tighten the cylinder head mounting bolts as per
sequence and procedure as explained in tightening
torque section.
•
Adjust the engine timing. (Refer Timing System).
NOTE
Cylinder headmounting bolts once removed should
not be reused
