BRAKE SYSTEM
3. Mount the strut spring (shown by arrow) on the
adjuster screw and adjustment ratchet in such a
manner that, adjuster ratchet is 3-4 threads away
from the head.
Assembly
1. Press leaf spring and insert pawl in angular
direction to fit properly in the slot on the leaf spring.
2. Lift the leaf spring alongwith pawl, and insert elbow
lever gently.
OVERHAULING OF AUTO ADJUSTER
ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
Refer brake auto adjuster kit from electronic parts
catalogue (Bosch and BIL) while overhauling process
and replace the parts accordingly.
Disassembly
1. Pullout gently adjuster screw (shown by arrow) from
strut assembly.
2. Dismantle pawl (shown by arrow) by pulling slightly
from strut assembly.
NOTE:
While pulling; twist the pawl to get unlocked from
seating.
