Control Module

Input Power "A"

- circuit voltage

above threshold

1) Fuses in Fuse box

2) Battery Supply line

3) Alternator overcharging

1) Check wiring Connections &

connectors of power supply if

damaged than Replace the vehicle

wiring harness or connector.

2) Measure supply voltage (> 11.5 V)

at ECU power supply connector from

wiring harness side if voltage is > 16V

than check the battery if required

replace/repair the battery.

3)Check resistance between vehicle

ground and ground at the power

supply connector(should be <1 ohm) if

resistance did not meet the

requirement check the wiring

connection and if problem still persist

than replace the wiring harness.

4) Check the fuses in Fuse box (J-

Case Fuse (60 Amp)) if fuse is blown

than replace a fuse.

5) Check the power supply line for

short circuit if persist change the

wiring harness.

6) Check alternator voltage (13.5 V to

14.5 V in engine running condition) if

output is not correct than repair /

replace the alternator.

failure

1) Internal ECU failure.

1) Reset the ECU. Remove the power

supply plug connector from ECU and

reconnect after about 5 minutes. If

DTC are still persists than replace the

ECU.

Failures

1) Internal ECU failure.

1) Reset the ECU. Remove the power

supply plug connector from ECU and

reconnect after about 5 minutes.

2) Or Reflash EPAS ECU. Reset the

ECU. Remove the power plug from

ECU and reconnect after about 5

minutes.

If DTC are still persist than replace the

ECU.

Error - missing

calibration

1) Tuning file (calibration

software for variant specific)

missing in EPAS ECU

1) Check for calibration file mismatch

/Re-flash the ECU with the correct

calibration file version.
