Failures
1) No Communication with
IPC system.
1) Check IPC ECU connector is
properly connected, if ECU connector
does not connect connect the
connector to ECU.
2) Check resistance between CAN
lines (should be Approx. ~60 ohm). if
measured resistance is approximately
equal to 120 ohm then IPC is
disconnected form the Network.
Connect the ECU to network.
3. Check IPC ECU power supply line
and ground line connection from
wiring harness. If any problem repair
the wiring line.
After fixing the issues check by
Diagnostic Tool whether DTC is
present in current state or not.

Bus A - circuit
open
1) Vehicle Wiring harness
fault on CAN Bus harness:
open circuit failure for
CANH or CANL lines.
1) Check continuity between EPAS
ECU connector pin (vehicle signal
connector pin no 1 for CANL and pin
no for 3 CANH) & vehicle CAN Bus. If
continuity is not between ECU and
vehicle CAN bus than repair the wiring
harness / connectors / wires /
connectors terminals.
After fixing the issues check by
Diagnostic Tool whether DTC is
present in current state or not.

Bus A - bus off
Short circuit between:
1) CAN H - CAN L wires in
vehicle
2) CAN H - Gnd wires in
vehicle
3) CAN L - Vbatt wires in
vehicle
4) CAN H - Vbatt. wires in
vehicle
1) Vehicle wiring harness have a
issue, repair / replace vehicle wiring
harness.
2) measure resistance between CAN
H and CAN L lines ( typical ~60 ohm)
.if resistance is less than 10 ohm then
short circuit between CAN lines
(CANH - CANL / CANH - Gnd / CANL
- Vbatt / CANH -Vbatt )is present.
Repair the short circuit in wiring
harness.
When this DTC is present than
Diagnostic Tool will not be able to
communicate with any ECU and All
telltale/LED of IPC will glow.

After fixing the issues check by
Diagnostic Tool whether DTC is
present in current state or not.
