Abnormal
noise,
front end.
1. Worn, sticky or loose tie rod ends,
lower ball joints or tie rod end ball
joints
2.Damaged strut assembly
3.Worn lower arm bushing
4.Loose wheel bolts

fied torque
6.Replace wheel bearings
7.Replace spring
Poor return ability
1. EPAS Malfunctioning
2. Caster and linkage initialization not
happen
3. High friction in rack and pinion (too
tight or improperly adjusted)
4. Improper wheel alignment
1. Check through the diagnostic tool and
rectify.
2. Carry out wheel alignment and initializa-
tion process.
3. Check the rack and pinion, replace if re-
quired.
4. Carry out wheel alignment and initializa-
tion process.
Erratic
Steering
when braking
1. Brake rotor, drum, and or pads con-
taminated with brake fluid, grease
or other substances.
2. Uneven tyre pressure or wear
1. Remove wheel on opposite side of pull.
Check for brake component contamina-
tion. Clean or replace as necessary.
2. Check tyres adjust tyre pressure or re-
place worn tyres as necessary.
Wander or Poor
steering stability /
Lash in steering
1. Uneven or extreme tread wear.
2. Unequal tyre pressure on steered
wheel.
3. Lash in steering due to any loose-
ness or wear or cracked
components from steering wheel to
road wheels
4. Wheel alignment out of specifica-
tion
1. Replace tyres with new one.
2. Correct tyre pressure to specification
3. Determine by inspection to identify the
cause for lash and tighten or replace the
affected component as necessary.
4. Correct wheel alignment to specification.
