Installation
1. Mount HVAC unit on dashboard and tighten two
bolts (Thus securing HVAC unit with dashboard)
on ‘CCB’ bracket. The HVAC unit is free to travel
along oblong slot along HVAC mounting bracket.
2. Connect all electrical connectors of wiring harness.
3. Mount HVAC unit along with dashboard and tighten
all mounting bolts of cross beam member.
4. Connect refrigerant and heater lines/pipes and
tighten expansion valve nut.
NOTE:
Make sure that O-rings are intact and properly seated
in their grooves. Apply few drops of ND8 compressor
Oil on O-rings before fitment.
5. Tighten two nuts of HVAC unit located inside the
hood area. The bolts on firewall are designed as
supporting mounting, hence excessive torque
should not be applied on them.
6. Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system
(Refer Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and
Recharging)
7. Reconnect battery.
8. Perform a leak test. (Refer Leak Test procedure)
9. Carry out A/C functional check. (Refer A/C
performance check procedure).
10.Tighten mounting bolts of steering column.
11. Tighten two screws of bottom cover nacelle.
12.Fit HVAC control assembly (Refer HVAC Control
assembly installation procedure/HVAC group)
13.Fit Instrument Cluster (Refer Instrument Cluster
installation procedure/ Body Electrical group)
14.Fit Combi Switch assembly (Refer Combi Switch
assembly installation procedure/Body Electrical
group)
15.Fit Steering Wheel. (Refer steering wheel
installation procedure/Steering system group)
16.Refit instrument cluster.
17.Refit spare wheel
