ASSEMBLY OF CYLINDER HEAD

SUB-ASSEMBLIES

NOTE

Please ensure not to reuse cylinder head mounting

bolts and cylinder head gasket once it is dismantled.

Use new cylinder head bolts and gasket during

assembly.

•

Fit the valve guide using spacer – valve guid

e (Part

No. 2834 5890 06 02) along with drift (Part No.2873

5890 04 02)

•

Fit the valve guide oil seals using drift valve guide

seal (Part No. 2834 5890 06 04).

•

Fit the valve spring seats.

•

Fit the valves (intake and exhaust) to their

respective positions

•

Place the valve seal and then valve springs.

•

Place the valve retainers on the top of valve springs.
