SUSPENSION

ANTI-ROLL BAR

Removal :

1. Disconnect the battery terminal,

2. Apply parking brake and place wheel chocks at

rear,

3. Remove anti-roll bar nuts, washers and rubber

cushions. Do not remove nyloc nut connecting anti-

roll bar and ball joint pin.

4. Remove anti-roll bar mounting bracket and bearing

blocks.

5. Remove anti roll bar.

Installation :

1. For installation, proceed in reverse order of removal,

2. Assemble ball joint pin to anti roll bar separately.

Ensure ball joint face is parallel to mounting face

of anti-roll bar. Tighten ball joint to anti-roll bar,

3. Assemble anti roll bar components but do not

tighten. Ensure the paint mark is on upper direction

of vehicle.Align bearing block outer face with crimp

washer inner face to centralize anti-roll bar.

4. Assemble ball joint, rubber bush, cup and plain

washer as shown below .By holding the hex on

the shank of the ball joint with a spanner, keep on

tightening the lower nyloc nut till the threads

protrude about 5 to 6 mm outside the nut.
