STEERING SYSTEM

CONCERN CAUSE

REMEDY

Hard steering 1. Disturbed toe

1. Check and adjust toe

2. Rack and pinion movement binding

2. Check and adjust rack and pinion torque.

Repair or replace

3. Tyres not adequately inflated

3. Adjust and correct tyre pressures

4. Bind in steering column

5. Bind in tie rod end ball studs
