1. Brake fluid reservoir

Fluid level should always between MIN. and MAX.

marked on reservoir.

When warning light comes ON, top up fluid to MAX

line. When fluid decreases quickly, inspect brake lines

for any leaks and replace the defective parts and refill

fluid to correct level.

3.2 PARKING BRAKE INSPECTION :

Pull up parking brake lever with approximately

20- 25 kg force

With parking brake lever pulled up, count ratchet

notches in direction “a” as shown in figure.

Parking brake lever stroke “a” = 5 - 6 notches

Also check if both right and left rear wheels are locked

firmly.

To count number of notches listen to click sounds

that ratchet makes while pulling parking brake lever

without pressing its button.

One click sound corresponds to one notch.

If number of notches are out of specification, adjust

parking brake cable (refer parking brake cable

adjustment procedure) so as to obtain specified

parking brake stroke.

3.3 Inspection of Booster Operation :

NOTE:

the hydraulic system.
