GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Hydraulic Power Steering reduces the

driver’s effort needed to turn the steering wheel. This

is achieved by utilizing the hydraulic pressure gener-

ated by the hydraulic pump which is driven by the

engine.

The power steering offers the following ad-

vantages:-

Reduces steering effort and driver fatigue

Provides precise steering control.

Absorbs steering shocks, hydraulically preventing

them from being transmitted to the steering

wheel.

Provides absolute control and greater safety,

quickly & effortlessly in demanding emergencies

like sudden tyre failures or vehicle pull due to

malfunctioning brakes.
