STEERING
INTRODUCTION
SAFARI STORME is fitted with power steering
system for lighter steering effort and easy
maneuverability.
The system consists of Rack and pinion assembly
(RAP)
along with collapsible steering column and
hydraulic assist system.
Power assistance is available during normal
operating conditions, in case of any failure in
hydraulic system; the steering can still be operated
mechanically with increased steering effort for
bringing vehicle to repair station.
Steering column with tilt mechanism has been
provided so that height can be adjusted as
needed.
